“ The food here is GOOD! We went here to try some soul food. I feel like greenville's soul food is not...that good. So if you want something that tastes like home, come here instead. I had the salmon w/rice and vegetables. The salmon was cooked just how I like it with plenty of flavor. The sear on the onions and peppers is just how I would cook it. It had a little sauce on it too. The collard greens were decent. I liked the candied yams. They got baked and fried chicken which I also tried some of lol The fried chicken is delicious so I'd recommend that also. The gravy on the rice for that meal taste like grandma made it! The staff was very attentive refilling drinks and engaging in conversation. The chef even came out to ask us if we liked the food. Overall I appreciated the vibe of this spot. Everyone makes you feel like you're at home. ”

The seasonings, textures, portions....EVERYTHING, was PERFECT. The veggies are ALL vegan friendly. I had salmon and my husband had meatloaf and let’s just say, I have not had any food like this in the Carolinas, in the past 7 years we’ve been here. This will be my go-to spot from now on! ”
“ Hubby and I went here for our anniversary last night. The food was great! The price was perfect and I will most definitely be going back. It's a black owned family restaurant and they were very courteous to us. The food was so on point!!! Great atmosphere. There was plenty of room to sit and enjoy our meal. The fish was superb and the chicken i had was cooked to perfection! Yams were so good as well. I will have the turkey wings the next time we go back. The owner is a pastor and a really kind man. He and his cousin were delighted to take a picture so I can post my review. On the first Friday of the month they have something like singles night and the close early that day to accommodate that night. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you pastor Pierre and his family for your most gracious hospitality! I highly recommend this place to eat at and enjoy some good food with great prices. They also deliver door dash too!! I most definitely will be placing some orders ”

“ This is the best soul food I’ve had in a long time. It literally taste like your grandma is cooking in the back of their chicken. My favorite was the pastor P wings my apologies for not having a photo lol the food was that good. I also enjoyed the Mac and cheese which was perfect . I can’t wait to return for more . ”
